No. On March 24, 2026, Autodesk renamed Autodesk Construction Cloud to Autodesk Forma, and Autodesk Build became Forma Build. Autodesk says features, data, and workflows are unchanged. It also introduced Forma Build Essentials, a lighter field-focused version for smaller contractors.
Other products were renamed at the same time: Autodesk Docs is now Forma Data Management, BIM Collaborate Pro is now Forma Design Collaboration, and Autodesk Takeoff is now Forma Takeoff. If you are searching for Autodesk Build alternatives because of the name change, nothing about the product forces a move.
Keep Forma Build when documents, RFIs, cost, and field work already live there and the rest of your stack is Autodesk. Switching platforms is costly, and it does not fix sheets nobody had time to read.
If the gap is drawing review, add Helonic. It connects to Autodesk, reviews the 2D set, and writes located findings back as RFIs, with no download and re-upload. Forma Design Collaboration can add model clash detection on projects with a federated model; Helonic covers the issued PDFs, including packages that never made it into that model.
