Dedicated 2D drawing review versus the chat assistant inside Autodesk Forma
Helonic is built for analyzing construction drawings. Autodesk Assistant answers questions about files and data already in Autodesk Forma, formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Autodesk Assistant is an in-app assistant. Someone asks a question. It retrieves from Forma Data Management, Forma Build, and related Autodesk Forma data. That is useful when the files are already stored and the user needs a pointer.
Helonic reads the issued 2D PDF set, marks coordination and code issues with sheet coordinates, and the Autodesk integration can push those issues into Autodesk Forma as RFIs. The two can run together. They do not do the same job.
Helonic marks issues on unread sheets. Autodesk Assistant answers questions over Autodesk Forma data.

Milind is the co-founder and CEO of Helonic, where he leads product and go-to-market for AI-powered construction drawing analysis. He works closely with general contractors, project managers, estimators, and owners to understand how drawing quality drives project outcomes - and where AI can reduce RFIs, change orders, and rework. Milind has interviewed hundreds of construction professionals across project delivery roles, from preconstruction estimators at ENR top-400 contractors to facilities directors at institutional owners, and uses those conversations to shape both product direction and the way Helonic talks about the work.
How this page was researched: Comparison based on Autodesk Assistant as an ACC-embedded Q&A product and Helonic's shipped Autodesk drawing pull and RFI push. Distinct from Helonic vs Autodesk Build.

Helonic first for drawing review, then other assistants.
The CM platform comparison, not the assistant.
